Signs it is time
- A sink, tub or shower that drains slowly or gurgles
- Water backing up in a second fixture when one drains, such as a sink backing into the dishwasher
- A toilet that keeps clogging
- A smell coming up from a floor drain
- A stoppage that clears, then returns
How the job goes
Where does it back up?
Which fixtures, and when. A tub and a sink backing up together points somewhere different from one slow sink.
Cable it out
A drain machine on the stoppage, at a sink, a tub or a main line. One customer had sink clogs resolved within an hour.
If it comes back
A camera shows what is catching: a buildup, a low spot or a break, and what to do about it.

“They responded quickly, arrived when promised, and took the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of rushing through it.”
Good to know
Why does my drain keep clogging?
A stoppage that returns often means something in the line is catching: a buildup, a low spot or a damaged pipe. A camera inspection shows which, so the fix is aimed at the cause.
Should I use chemical drain cleaner?
It is better not to. It can sit in a line that is not moving and does not remove what is catching. Call before you pour more in.
Can a clog be in the main line?
Yes. If more than one fixture backs up, or a floor drain gurgles, the main line may be the problem.
