Sewer lines
Sewer line camera inspection, repair and replacement
Before any digging, a camera goes into the line so you can see the problem for yourself. Then comes a written proposal, with options.

The job, step by step
Camera in the line
It goes in through a cleanout or a fixture and you watch the screen. Latisha D. wrote that CR Plumbing gave them the video.
Trace it
A locator follows the line from above ground, so you know where it runs before anyone picks up a shovel.
A written proposal
One section or a new run, with options to fit your budget.
The dig
Under slabs, in yards and around houses. Eran B. had more than 150 feet of new pipe around the property and under the house, in hard clay soil.
The finish
Eran B. wrote that CR Plumbing finished exactly when it said it would, and stayed on budget.
CR Plumbing's work

Signs it is time
- Sewage smells in the yard, or soggy ground along the line
- Several fixtures backing up at once
- Repeated main line stoppages
- Slow drains throughout the house
- An older home that has never had its sewer line looked at
“It is not easy to find contractors who are both reliable and professional, but [CR Plumbing] was both.”
Good to know
Do I need to replace the whole sewer line?
Not always. A camera can show that only one section has failed. You will see it before you decide.
Will the yard or floor be torn up?
Digging is sometimes needed. The camera shows where the problem is, so you know what has to be dug.
What do older sewer lines look like?
In older homes the line can be cast iron or clay. Those materials can crack, corrode or let roots in over time.
